Since 1989, Peg O'Connell has performing corporate accounting functions for a variety of companies including State Street Bank and Trust, Liberty Financial Services, and many others. Her responsibilities have ranged from managing accounts receivables and payables, cash management and forecasting, monthly closings, fixed asset management, external and internal financial reporting, assisting with the year-end audits, establishing procedures and controls as well as managing an accounting department for a major corporation.

Peg finally made the leap from corporate employee to entrepreneur in spring of 2007, when she was laid off as a result of a company relocation. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, all of which she had helped with their bookkeeping functions during her spare time, Peg had gotten a taste of working independently, and she decided to pursue her passion working with entrepreneurs to help them get their bookkeeping done so they could focus on the fun stuff.

Peg currently resides in Brookline, Massachusetts with her two cats, Isabella and Orange. In addition to helping busy entrepreneurs stay on top of her finances, she is also an avid photographer and assistant teaches photographic workshops at the New England School of Photography.  You can see her work during Brookline Artists’ Open Studios, which is held yearly in the spring.

Peg is a 1986 graduate of Colby – Sawyer College in New London, NH with a Bachelor in Science degree in Business Administration.
